Davido was not present on the recently released “Lungu Boy” Album, according to Nigerian musician Asake.
Asake disclosed that he and Davido had a song together, but it was left off the album during an Instagram Live Q&A session with fans on Saturday, August 10, 2024. As a fan inquired,
Why did you not add Davido? Did you not have a feature?
Asake responded,
Me and Davido still have a song, but this is time for Lungu Boy, there would be time for that one too.
A later release date is implied by Asake’s reaction, which implies that the cooperation with Davido is still in the works.
The combined project from the two titans of Nigerian music is also highly anticipated by fans. Furthermore, there has been a stir in the music industry around the “Lungu Boy” Album by Asake.
